Declaration of Law for family formation
In the case of family formation, there is also a distinction between a Declaration of Law and a permit.
A declaration by operation of law is requested by family members with the Dutch or American nationality. A permit, on the other hand, is applied for by family members with a different nationality.
Does the main applicant have a Dutch nationality and the spouse a German nationality? Then a permit for family formation applies here other nationalities must be requested.
So you really have to look at the nationality of the family member who wants to form with the main applicant.
Do children need a family formation statement?
Yes, every family member who wants to join the main applicant needs a legal declaration based on family formation. This statement is linked to that of the main applicant.
Children under the age of 18 can be submitted under the same application number and CuraBon will ensure correct submission.
The fees the Admissions Committee applies per family member, so if you emigrate to Curaçao with several family members and therefore children, you must pay the fees per family member.

It is important to know what costs are involved in a declaration by operation of law for family formation. These are costs that are not covered by the CuraBon package.
fees: These are the administrative costs charged by the Admissions Committee of Curaçao, only for processing the application. The legal fees for a Declaration by operation of law on the basis of an internship are 615 ANG (Gulden – currency Curaçao) per person.
Document costs: There are costs associated with obtaining the necessary documents, such as a birth certificate, etc. These costs vary depending on where you obtain the documents.
