A Not Applicable statement indicates that the Aliens Act does not apply to a person. This means that the application process for a residence permit in Curaçao works differently for this person.

The National Ordinance on Admission and Expulsion (LTU) states that every foreigner who wants to be admitted to Curaçao must be in possession of a residence permit issued by the government.
Anyone subject to Article 1, especially persons subject to Article 1c LTU, must obtain a statement that the LTU does not apply to them. This declaration of inapplicability applies to all islands within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This category of persons can only be registered in Curaçao upon presentation of a Not Applicable Declaration.
If you belong to this target group and you want to come and live in Curaçao (again), you will therefore have to apply for a non-applicable declaration.

fees: These are the administrative costs charged by the Admissions Committee of Curaçao, only for processing the application. The legal fees for a Declaration by operation of law based on a declaration of non-applicability are 225 ANG (Gulden – currency Curaçao).
