The validity of a Declaration of Right is determined based on the purpose of your stay. If you continuously meet the requirements under which your Declaration of Right was granted, it is valid indefinitely.
For a Declaration of Law for an internship, the validity period is as long as your internship. So, if you come to do an internship for five months, you are expected to leave the island immediately after your internship period.
A Declaration of Law based on sufficient resources, on the other hand, is issued for an indefinite period until you no longer have sufficient resources and then your admission can be withdrawn. Practice shows that this is not tested, so an indefinite period is also an indefinite period.
